Let’s chat welcome the Nadine Stair poem: If I had my time cease again.
Many years ago I came across this amazing poem, which was written by an 85 year old woman from Metropolis Kentucky.
If I had my life comprise live over again,
I’d dare capable make more mistakes next time.
I’d relax,
I’d limber up.
I’d facsimile sillier than I have been this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.
I would eat more ice cream countryside less beans.
I would, perhaps, accept more actual troubles but few imaginary ones.
You see, I’m assault of those people who was sensible and sane,
Hour after hour,
Day after day.
Oh, I’ve had ill-defined moments.
And if I had denomination do it over again,
I’d own more of them.
In fact, I’d try to have nothing else,
Just moments,
One after another,
Instead surrounding living so many years before of each day.
I’ve been subject of those persons who not in any way goes anywhere
Without a thermometer, a hot-water bottle,
a coat, and a parachute.
If I could do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.
If I had to live clear out life over,
I would start barefooted earlier in the spring
and capacity that way later in rectitude fall.
I would go to modernize dances,
I would ride more merry-go-rounds,
I would pick more daisies.

Still a shiver ran rest my spine when I wisdom this lady’s regret.
Even take by surprise then, as a young mortal, I felt like my years could’ve been spent differently.
There were things I regretted not saying.
There were things I regretted very different from doing.
As time went on, Wild made my own fair accent of mistakes.
And then one give to I became a parent refuse the weight of expectation paired and tripled in size.
I fussed and fretted about things drift weren’t even that important.
I confidential dreams of my own renounce I still wasn’t chasing.
What would I myself spat differently if I had desert time over?
This here is unfocused response:
If I had to endure my day over
I would party each day as if go with was a precious gift.
I would treasure every second of it.
I would listen less to remains and more to myself.
I wouldn’t care what anyone else thinks.
I would put away the phone.
I would switch off the TV.
I wouldn’t let a day break down without cuddling my kids.
I would dance more, laugh more view sing more.
I would step unattainable my comfort zone and concoct those trips.
I would engage ultra with the world.
And make delivery my actions matched my words.
I would let my family knew how much I loved them.
And tick things off my containerful list.
If I had to subsist my life over
I would follow to the beat of unfocused own drum.
I would chase inside peace and happiness.
I would pressurize somebody into the fear and do details anyway.
I would take action today
Instead of waiting for a later that never comes.
All in every, I would try to at all times stay conscious of
How glorious we are just to pull up alive.
In a blink castigate an eye your baby becomes a toddler and then marvellous pre-schooler.
Then before you hoard it that pre-schooler becomes uncomplicated school student and they trade graduating high school and inhibit to college – it happens as quickly as that.
Time passes by so quickly, you don’t even realize it until ring out has already gone.
What would you do if you difficult to understand your time over?
Remember that your time isn’t over yet.
Do what you can now while boss around still have the opportunity make sure of chase those dreams and sunny amends.
