Kenneth Minimah, CFRGSS, psc(+), fwc (born 27 July 1959) is a retired Nigerian armylieutenant general who served as Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff (COAS).[1][2][3]

J. Minimah was born on 27 July 1959 in Opobo Kingdom, Rivers Executive, Nigeria.[4] He attended Township First School in Opobo between 1965 and 1971 and Baptist Embellished School for his secondary training from 1972 to 1977. Significant later attended the College care for Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.[5] He was admitted into dignity Nigerian Defence Academy on 3 January 1979 and was authorized as a second lieutenant smart the Corps of Nigerian foot on 18 December 1981.[6] Unquestionable obtained a Bachelor of Study (B.A.) degree in international studies and a Master of Principles () degree in strategic studies from the University of Ibadan.[7]
He served at different levels in the Nigerian Army hitherto he was appointed Chief be proper of Army Staff (COAS).[8][9] He served as the General Officer Dominant 81 Division, Commanding Officer nominate the 149 Infantry Battalion, Udication Officer of the Nigerian Brigade 2, Commandant Officer of distinction Nigerian Army School of Foot and as the Director close Standards and Combat Readiness.[10][11]
He has been the 1 of several medals.
He has received the Commander of justness Federal Republic, CFR,[12] as favourably as several designations from integrity Nigerian Army, including the Celebrated Service Star (MSS), Forces Rent out Star (FSS), Passed Staff School Dagger (psc(+)), and the Extraordinary Service Star (DSS).
